Let's suppose you have worked on a document and you would like to share it with the rest of the world. If you created the document using Microsoft Word, this means that opening it requires the same application or a compatible DOC viewer. It would be better to save the document as a plain image file. That's because the Windows operating system already features an image viewer, so no additional software should be installed. The question is how to save a document as an image file. The answer is ImagePrinter Pro. The program allows one to save documents as image files by acting as a virtual printer. This means that the user can save not only Word documents, but virtually any type of content created with an application that supports the printing feature.

ImagePrinter Pro can run on almost any version of the Windows operating system and it requires only a few clicks to be installed. It takes up about 10 MB of hard disk space and requires low system resources.

Because the program acts as a printer, it doesn't actually have an interface. The only window the program can display is the configuration window, which allows customizing in complete detail the image saving process. Beginners shouldn't bother modifying these options, as the program is already pre-configured with the optimal settings.

Saving a document as an image file only requires accessing the printing feature. Doing this will open a window in which the user can enter the name of the created image file. After entering the name of the image file, it will be automatically saved in the same folder as the original file. ImagePrinter Pro offers support for a wide range of image file formats.

Pros

It acts as a virtual printer, allowing the user to create an image file from virtually any application that supports the printing feature. Besides that, it includes a configuration window from where one can thoroughly customize the image saving process. Furthermore, the program supports saving in a wide range of image file formats.

Cons

The demo version will display a watermark in the final image file. ImagePrinter Pro is the best solution for creating image files using virtually any application that supports printing.
